Women’s Aid full membership is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations providing direct services for women and child survivors of domestic abuse in England, who:

1. Agree with and signs up to support Women’s Aid’s mission, values, and terms of reference

2. Agree to abide by the Women’s Aid Complaints Policy

3. Meet the criteria to be invited to apply for our National Quality Standards 

How to become a Women’s Aid Member Service

1. Your organisation is at least one year old and provides domestic abuse services to women and children. 2. Your organisation can evidence that it shares our values and can meet our membership terms of reference. 3. Submit an expression of interest form. 4. Provide supporting documentation by the quarterly deadline. 5. Your application is reviewed by the membership team and submitted to the board of trustees. 6. The board of trustees approves applications. 7. Successful applications join the federation and are invited to apply for NQS.

Applications for organisations to join Women’s Aid are open throughout the year and are reviewed on a quarterly basis. Applications are closed at the beginning of the previous month, before members of Women’s Aid Board of Trustees meet to approve successful applications. Organisations can complete their application in the following quarter, if they are not able to provide all their documentation within the initial timeframe.
